Successful Implementation of CA solutions at Credit du Maroc by Allied Computer Services
In July 2008, ALCS successfully completed the implementation of CA Enterprise System Management solutions, at Credit du Maroc Head office, in Casablanca-Morocco. The project was managed by CA.

Solution Description The core of the solution is CA Unicenter NSM and AutoSys. Unicenter is a family of modular, integrated solutions, addressing today’s issues of managing complexity, maximizing IT staff productivity, and orchestrating the diverse resources of the enterprise IT investment.
Implementation Info The implementation of the CA solution included 150 man days and covered the stages of the solution architecture specification, the training, the testing on a pilot system and the system go-live. The challenge was to deal with an IT environment and application running on remote nodes and on different platforms including: Solaris Cluster, Solaris, IBM AIX, and Windows 2000/2003.
Around 1,200 jobs were scheduled to run in high availability mode and the system provided visualization into the batch flow and its real time status through a Web based interface. The current status of the environment components is displayed on an Executive Dashboard, and complete service level reports are generated and addressed to the executive levels of the bank. The go-live of the job scheduling process was very critical. Hence the system had to be well tested, free of error, highly performant, and ready before 8.30 am (the opening time of the 225 branches connected online to the head office).
