July 10, 2017 - Phoenicia Hotel, Beirut, Lebanon
ITB, an ITG company, sponsored “Beirut International Healthcare Industry Forum” at Phoenicia Hotel, Beirut. The forum constitutes a single platform for all stakeholders in the healthcare sector by doctors, experts, researchers, investors, regulatory authorities and institutions, as well as hospital administrations, local and international organizations, associations and companies concerned with the health sector.
Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Public Health, H.E. Mr. Ghassan Hasbani, inaugurated this key event, the first of its kind in the region, which was co-organized by the Ministry of Public Health and Al-Iktissad Wal-Aamal Group. Minister Hasbani launched the Universal Health coverage plan during the opening ceremony.
Ms. Corinne Aad Naba’, Senior Project Manager at ITB, and Mr. François Gros, Program Director at Medasys (part of Dedalus), both participated to the discussion panel “Future of Healthcare”.
Ms. Aad Naba’ explained that Electronics Medical Records (EMR) are a necessity nowadays to ensure quality and safety in a coordinated healthcare hospital environment. She also presented the patient journey within a hospital, and how EMR can definitely optimize it.
On the other hand, Mr. Gros presented the project of National Healthcare Technology Platform, a strategic initiative aiming at consolidating patient data across a regional or national territory. This interoperable territorial platform ensures a healthcare network, thus connecting the Ministries, the hospitals, the care centers, the third party payers, etc.
ITB’s key participation in BIHIF highlighted once again its role as a major player in the healthcare market.
