The first 100G fiber backbone in Lebanon has been designed and deployed by Enterprise & Networking Solutions (ENS) at the head quarters of Bank Audi-Audi Saradar Group. The contract was signed in January 2011 and thanks to the expertise of ENS technical team the project could be accomplished in 2 months. The 100G fiber backbone will ensure the growth of the bank network for the next ten years.
Enterprise & Networking Solutions (ENS) won a major deal for the provisioning and installation of one of the first Cat6A 10G UTP copper cabling network in Lebanon, in the Lebanese American University Medical School (LAU), in Beirut, for 2000 users approx. This is a breakthrough in structured cabling installations for one of the pioneers in the educational sector. The installation will be completed in October 2011.
Enterprise & Networking Solutions (ENS) successfully deployed a 1200 extension IP PBX from world leading vendor Alcatel-Lucent, at the Presidency of the Council of Ministers office. This is a major success for ENS and its team which ensured a smooth transition from the old system to the new solution, without interrupting the service, as this was required in such a critical environment. This deal was signed early September 2010.
Enterprise & Networking Solutions (ENS) won the project for the deployment of complex and advanced IP PBX systems from Alcatel-Lucent, in the Central Bank head office and 5 branches. The solutions will connect 2000 users in the head office only and it includes all the applications that run on IP such as Voice Mail, Fax Server, Unified Communications, Mobility, Calls Encryption, etc…The solutions are currently being implemented in a tough environment and one of the big challenge that ENS technical team will face is the shifting to the news systems without interrupting the central bank operations. The project’s finalization is planned for July-2011.
In 2009, MTN Ghana awarded ENS the project of extending its telephony networks and contact centers. After a six-month preliminary study followed by another six months of Alcatel-Lucent solutions implementation, ENS mission proved to be successful.
The IP Telephony solution equipment includes: IP PBX for 400 users and 30 wireless users with a 2 x E1 connection to the Public Switch Telephone Network (PSTN) and soft phones.
The Alcatel-Lucent solution, which became fully operational by mid April 2007, includes Voice and Data Networking products, for Berytech’s 2nd technological pole located in Beirut.
