July 25, 2018 - Beirut, Lebanon
ITG (Holding) & L’École Supérieure des Affaires (ESA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding to promote academic cooperation between ITG and ESA Business School programs.
The agreement extends the initiative of allowing graduates to explore the professional world and gain practical experience in their field of study being Business Administration, Human Resources, Marketing and Communication. The signing ceremony was held at the Holcom premises in the presence of the President of ESA Business School, Mr. Stephane Attali, ITG Chairman & CEO, Mr. Claude J. Bahsali & Dr. Fouad Zmokhol, Advisor to the Board of Directors of ITG Holding.
Mr. Bahsali welcomed the guests and introduced the group and its diversified portfolio. He also stressed on the importance of cooperation between the Higher Education sector and the Private sector. ‘Signing this memorandum strengthens ITG’s relationship with ESA Business School. It is in line with our vision to empower our employees and make them benefit from the expertise of international professors. Moreover, we also want to attract all ESA graduates for the development of our group and the growth of our country’s economy. We are keen to ensure that future graduates will have confidence in accomplishing effective and significant careers while being based here in Lebanon’ said Mr. Bahsali.
Mr. Attali added ‘I am proud and honored to establish this cooperation with a top leading company like ITG Group. Since its creation, ESA’s mission is to build bridges between the academic and the business world by developing strong partnerships with inspiring international companies, strongly anchored in the local market. I hope that this agreement will allow our relationship to deepen even further.’
Dr. Zmokhol quoted, ‘Signing an MOU with ESA is a tangible and concrete example of HOLCOM/ITG philosophy: Building bridges between companies and universities and at the same time establishing links and communication channels between Lebanese business persons and students. We are looking for young graduates with ‘fresh minds’ and entrepreneurial spirit who want to implement creative ideas. We don’t want to tell them what to do, but expect them to tell us how we can develop and improve in this challenging environment.’
Afterwards, the memorandum was signed by both parties, followed by a tour of the Holcom premises, and a reception.
